My nine Days in Piura
I Think when I heard the first "hola" that the Holy Spirit became alive in me and stayed with me for the entire 9 days.
I had been told by those who had been here before that you would leave a changed person. Now i can appreciate the meaning of their rewards.
I Have truly fallen in love with the beautiful people of PiuraThe minute that I looked in their eyes I saw the face of God. They are so loving, generous, and caring..
After seeing how these people always put God first in their lives, it has shown me what I need to strive in my life.I thank God for allowing me to see, learn, and serve.
Even though we have supported a family for 10 years, this is my first time that I have met them, this visit will make an unbreakable bond between our families. I consider the support that I give them to be nothing in comparison to the gift of lovethey give me and my wife.
Thanked God everyday I was here that I was able to meet them.
Everyday that I was here touched my heart in a different way, from visiting the elder and hospice, to building houses. God has awaked The Holy Spirit in me in a way that I have never experienced. Thanks be to God.
The week culminated with the most beautiful mass at the Congress that I have ever attended.
Pray that I can return next year.
