My week at Santisimo Sacramento was a fantastic experience that I will always cherish. Interacting with the local people gives a perspective on life that cannot be taught or explained - only experienced first-hand.

As a surgeon our week in the Operating Room was a tremendous opportunity to give not only the surgical care the patients needed, but also an opportunity to provide spiritual ministry that was sincerely received.

The love of the social workers for poorest of Piura's poor is an example of true Christian love and compassion.

I look forward to returning in future years to help the ministry of Father Joe and Santisimo Sacramento.
