We had heard of Father Joe's admirable work from a classmate Notre Dame, we travelled to assist our plastic surgeon Dr. Starr and Dr Mourissette, Father Joe's friend. Everyone in Piura is his friend and became ours as well. The Spirit cannot help but be rejuvenated. After a day of seeing children and adults his staff assisted us in in getting the services, the patients needed and worked with us to contact nearly hospitals and physicians, the gifts Father Joe has been given are fully realized in hospice, school, clinics, churches, places to grieve, and places to celebrate.
